First day – phew!
by Robichaud, Maggie (ASD-N) | Added Sep 2, 2025
Made it through the first day! If your child arrives home with school supplies left in their bookbag, it’s yours to keep! Reminder to send in $5 for the Agendas (made local!) and $6 for any student who needs a recorder. Mrs McLean has the recorders from last year for the Grade 4 students. If any grade 3 student has one at home, they are welcome to bring it from home. I will collect them tomorrow.
Enjoy all the paper work!

Bonjour! Welcome to 3/4 Robichaud!
My name is Maggie Robichaud and I will be your child’s Grade 3 or Grade 4 French Immersion teacher. We have a combined class with 8 grade 3 students and 15 grade 4 students. Be rest assured – every student will be taught at their level.
All students will be starting on Tuesday, September 2nd and the cafeteria will be open that day(Menu is: Grab’n’Go and Grilled Cheese sandwiches and tomato hamburger macaroni soup). Don’t forget to pack a water bottle! The school generally runs hot in the month of September. Throughout the week you’ll receive lots of papers and memos, including one of what to expect in our class.
To note – my classroom already has a lot of white liquid glue, permanent sharpie markers and whiteboard markers. Feel free to keep these items for future years or return them to the store! Should we need more throughout the year, I will let you know.
For now, I only need one thing from you. Please reply to this email and let me know what your child’s after-school arrangements will be for the school year. If they are going to be picked up, please let me know who will be picking them up. If they are going to take a bus, please provide the bus number (if known) and civic address of where they will be going. Easier to organize today than on the first day. Thank you!
