Hi folks!

It’s Monday again! It’s multicultural week at KSE. Our class is learning about the country of Ghana!

Spell-a-thon test results went home today. To be eligible for prizes, students must receive 100% on their test or bring in any amount of $ for pledges. Money is due Friday.

Students will have a test on Friday. Grade 3 students must be able to name NB’s capital, other cities in NB, the tallest mountain, longest river, and biggest lake. Grade 4 students will be quizzed on provincial/territory’s capitals and Canada’s capital city.

I’ll be updating pictures shortly to our website from last week and our mock municipal election today.

All for now!

Hi folks!

Math Tests are being completed this week and will be sent home likely Wednesday. Please keep an eye out for them. Last week we sent home writing samples for March and April. Our next unit in Math will be fractions. Youppi!

Today we had our “Music Monday” assembly (it’s Canada wide!). We saw some Irish dancing, Scottish dancing, Bethie’s solo speech, guitar playing AND a fiddler! It was a traditional kitchen party! Our Spell-a-thon papers went home today. Lists vary according to grade etc. If you need an extra copy, let me know! Spell-a-thon Test is on Friday.

Tomorrow we also start our 2 week long Science experiment on teeth brushing! Students will be brushing their eggs to test which toothpaste works best. Grade 4 students will also be completing their NB Grade 4 Science Assessment. It sounds worse than it is.

All for now! Pictures to be uploaded on Friday. We will also have a hands-on Science experiment that day AND a mock municipal election.

PHEW! Are you tired yet?!

Short week for the students this week. We had fun outside last week organizing, cleaning and enjoying the change in weather for Earth Day celebrations/learning. Just about done our units on multiplication and division, and continuing working on NB cities (Grade 3) and Canadian provinces and territories (Grade 4).

All for now! Here are a few new pictures: Pictures up to April 24 2026 | King Street Elementary
