Hi folks!
March is here! Those students in the music festival with solo speeches (March 23rd AM @KSE) or Mme Carroll’s choral reading group (March 23rd PM @KSE) are encouraged to practice at home. Memorising is optional (likely preferred). Our class will be performing together on Thursday, March 24th AM @JMH with their recorders. Please help your child remember to pack their on music days. Choir and drama members will also be performing Tuesday, March 24 AM @JMH.
In class we are continuing to work on and soon to wrap-up:
Grade 3 – magic potions and animal research (Eng & Fr), addition with regrouping, subtraction with regrouping
Grade 4 – continent and country writing (Eng & Fr)
Grade 4 has started their big unit on multiplication which will include 2 and 3 digit by 1 digit multiplication (3 different ways!) and long multiplication. If your child is panicking, tell them to chill. It’s only day one! They didn’t know how to walk on their first try either!
Next novel study, a classic – Charlotte’s Web!
All for now!
