A beautiful day to explore! 3P and 3R went to the Police Station and Middle Island. Thank you to the Miramichi Police Force for escorting us to Middle Island and to the Miramichi Fire Department for escorting us on the way back!
Students went rolling on bikes, rollerblades and scooters. This was held on Monday, June 9th 2025 for 3P and 3R.
Hi folks!
Today I am sending home a permission slip for our walking trip to Middle Island on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. Please sign it and return ASAP.
9:00am leaving the school and will be walking to the Police Station downtown. We will be having a tour of the station at 9:30am. From there we will have a police escort to Middle Island by the Miramichi Police Force. When we get to Middle Island we will possibly have a Fishing Guide there to show students how to fish. Students do not need to bring their rods but may do so if they choose. We will also be having a treat from Calico Cafe provided by Big Brother/Big Sisters as a part of our SNAP Reward. Please make sure that your child has a bagged lunch, lots of snacks and plenty to drink. They should wear sneakers! We will be leaving Middle Island around 1:00 and we will be escorted back by the Miramichi Fire Department. Make sure your child has sunscreen, fly repellent and is wearing proper shoes for the walk. It is also a good idea for students to have a change of clothes just in case. Bookbags will be brought via vehicle to Middle Island to lighten the load.

Here are our reminders for next week! It is encouraged for students to have a change in clothes in their book bag and lots of water. Here is our plan. We will be keeping an eye to the weather and update you as the week progresses with any changes.
