Hi folks!

A special thanks to our Cocoa volunteer Alex for putting up with changed schedules (x1000000)! We had a great day today watching the Black Light at JMH, getting some fresh air and having hot chocolate and cookies!

Next week is March Break. Here are a few reminders to get you to the break!

Feel free to look at our class website for pictures! Robichaud, Maggie (ASD-N) | King Street Elementary

All for now!

REMINDERS:
THURS: PJ Day (optional), Movie, Painting, Month-end assembly and Sliding
FRI: Outside Olympic Activities, Sock Hop and Finish movie
*MARCH BREAK*
MON, MARCH 9th: Back to school

FOR THOSE THAT DID NOT RECEIVE THE NOTE THAT WENT HOME TODAY…..

THURSDAY, February 26th: Movie & Community Painting & Assembly & Sliding (PM)

We will start watching a movie based on our read aloud novel study, “Number the Stars”. Then in the afternoon there is a month-end assembly. We will be completing a community painting activity that will be displayed at the Chatham Library. I’d recommend no special clothing be worn that day just to stay on the safe side! Finally we will end the day by joining 3 Prince to go sliding near the school. If your child’s sled can fit in their book bag, then it can go on the bus. If not, a sled will have to be dropped off & picked up at the school. We have a few slides but not enough to accommodate all the children.

Students will need: LOTS of outside gear, sled.

FRIDAY, February 27th: Olympic Activities (9am-12pm), Sock Hop (1:35-2:15pm) & Movie (throughout day)

The gym teachers have organized a morning of Olympic activities. In the afternoon, a grade 3-5 sock hop will be held in the cafeteria.

Students will need: LOTS of outside gear, blanket and pjs (optional).
