Our class has adopted a Spirit Bear. Our bear is now hibernating. Students have made a den for her. An Elder will come to our class this Spring, when she wakes up to give her a name in Mi’kmaq. Miss Rachael Bell from our ASDN Indigenous Lead is teaching us about the First Nations culture.
